Two situations in which you should hire a portaloo for your home renovations
Whilst it is not always necessary to use the services of a portaloo hire company when renovating your home, there are situations in which it would be sensible to do so. Continue reading to find out what these situations are.
You're pregnant
If you are pregnant and are planning to be involved in the renovation work, then it is definitely worth renting a portaloo. The reason for this is as follows; it is very common for pregnant women to need to urinate frequently.
This is due to the fact that during pregnancy, the kidneys produce more urine, and the bump can place pressure on the bladder; these two issues can lead to a woman needing to visit the toilet a lot more often than they did when they were not pregnant.
If in this situation, you decide not to hire a portaloo, you may not be able to complete the renovation work that you had planned to do, in the timeframe you had initially decided on, because you will have to go find a public toilet a dozen or more times each day. Additionally, due to the decline in energy levels that many women experience during pregnancy, you may find that your trips back and forth from the local public toilets leave you with very little energy for the actual renovation work.
Conversely, if you are able to access a toilet on your property whenever you need to, you may still be able to complete your part of the renovations on time and without expending excessive amounts of energy.
The property you are renovating is in an extremely rural area and you need to complete the renovation quickly
If the property you want to renovate is located in a rural area and you want to finish renovating it as quickly as possible, then it is sensible to arrange for a rental company to deliver some portaloos to the property before you start renovating it.
The reason for this is as follows; in this situation, you won't be able to just pop into the nearest restaurant, supermarket or shopping centre and use their toilet. Instead, you will have to travel by car to the closest town or city (which, if you're in a rural area, may be many miles away). These daily road journeys will disrupt the renovations and make it harder for you to complete all of the work in the limited amount of time you have available.
Even if you try to postpone these road journeys by ignoring the call of nature for as long as possible, you may find it hard to focus on your work and get it done properly, as your need to use a toilet will distract you from the renovation tasks.
